Not all Poodles have tear staining.

In my experience as a proffessional groomer the full coated breeds that had tear staining occurred mostly in the small toy and miniature sized dogs. Im not sure about the scientific details on this occurance but the Standard sized Poodles did not have the tear staining no matter what color they were. There is nothing more stunning than a big beautiful cream colored poodle which actually looks more like champagne. So dont be afraid of the lighter colors in the poodle world as they are quite beautiful!
